Practical Geostatistics 2000 is the long awaited sequel to Dr Isobel Clark's seminal work "Practical Geostatistics 1979”, the first textbook of its kind, and still requested today.

Co-authored by Isobel Clark and Bill Harper, PG2000 was released in August 2000 and is currently in its third reprint.

The CD version contains many extra features over and above those in the book:

v      The book in hyperTeX version -- better than your average hypertext!!; Scientific Notebook Viewer supplied free of charge courtesy of MacKichan software;  Geostatistics Demo program, based on the Ecosse software; all the data sets used in the book plus some others; Graph paper printer, courtesy of Philippe Marquis;

Practical Geostatistics 2000, Answers to the Exercises

In addition to full worked examples, the first 10 chapters of PG2000 finish with a set of exercises for the reader to tackle. This second volume presents Answers to those exercises. It is not exactly a slim volume, being 382 pages long. If your idea of an answer book reads like:

Q: the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything
Answer: 42

then this is not the book for you. The answers here are detailed, wordy and tackle the real problem rather than present some idealised pat solution to each exercise. If you have a problem that does not follow the flock, you may find some help amongst the definitively non-standard real-life problems here.
